Dr. Tsui is an Associate Professor in the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences at the Keck School of Medicine at USC and Cancer Control Program Co-Leader and Director of Cancer Care Delivery Research and Implementation Science at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. She is also a faculty member of the USC Gehr Family Center For Health Systems Science And Innovation. She is a health services researcher and cancer prevention and control scientist with a focus on reducing inequities in cancer prevention, cancer care quality, and cancer outcomes through implementation of evidence-based strategies and health system, community, and policy level interventions, particularly among marginalized populations served in safety-net health care settings. Dr. Tsui currently leads a National Cancer Institute funded study that examines implementation of evidence-based strategies for HPV vaccination in safety-net settings. She is also MPI on a National Institute of Minority Health and Health Disparities study to examine structural racism and healthcare inequities among cervical cancer survivors.
Ms. Dang is a Project Specialist in the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. She oversees study coordination and monitors day-to-day activities for multiple projects in the Cancer Care Equity Lab. She is responsible for the submission of IRB applications, partnership collaborations, and general support of data collection and analysis. Her current research interests include adolescent health and health disparities amongst AAPI communities.
Dr. Galimov is a clinical physician and public health
scientist with a focus on public health policy, addiction, implementation
science, diet, and physical activity. He joined the Cancer Care Equity Lab in
2023, where he leads qualitative data analysis and provides expertise in
primary care research and methods. Dr. Galimov’s research integrates
methodological and theoretical frameworks with advanced quantitative research
methods to understand the multilevel behavioral, psychological, and
community/neighborhood factors associated with healthy and risky lifestyle
trajectories among adolescents and young adults. He has extensive expertise in
qualitative data analysis, particularly in applying social media data to inform
public health initiatives and policy.
Dr. Garcia is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. She is funded in part by the Multidisciplinary Cancer Disparities NCI-funded T32 based at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center and the University of Hawaii Cancer Center. Her research focuses on improving cancer care delivery among Latinas disproportionately affected by cervical cancer. Her past work, funded by an NIMHD F31 award, has explored multilevel barriers and facilitators to HPV vaccination among young adult Mexican American women. Her NCI-funded Loan Repayment Program award and postdoctoral training are focused on using large population-level data to inform health equity research, gaining expertise in implementation science frameworks, and investigating multilevel sociocultural determinants of cancer outcomes to inform development of interventions to address cancer disparities in Latino communities.
Dr. He is a Biostatistician and Data Analyst at the USC Comprehensive Cancer Center. She provides statistical support for research projects such as reviewing and analyzing data in public health and clinical investigations, including analysis of electronic medical records within the Cancer Care Equity Lab. Her research interests include survey data methods and clinical trials design and analysis.
